I bought it to use it for pita

I looked for somethint not thay heavy to use it for pressing pita, it gave a great headstart and shaped them in nice circles, when I needed it them to be flatter I used rolling pin for few second. Its perfect for me.

Tortilla press

Well it does work, but if you are looking for thin tortilla's or whatever you are using this press for, it probably is not going to happen. My use was to flatten out some bread balls and make hot pockets.Not thin enough for my liking and that may be why you are seeing people's tortilla press broken.

It Does The Job

This is actually a pretty good item. I purchased it to make corn tortillas and I needed something fast (shipping two thumbs up). It’s sturdy enough, easy to use, not heavy which is a major plus for me and the design is what I expected. This tortilla maker does what it’s supposed to do and I actually enjoy using it.
